the challenge for RBLI was to market their services in the ‘welfare to work’ sector to multiple audiences - public, employers, stakeholders and government – often having to use the same material. after differentiating this specialist sector from the rest of the charity clearly in the logo use, a high quality 24-page A4 landscape ‘corporate’ B2B brochure was produced using ‘people’ images and statements that worked hard and with impact to clearly identify the charity’s customer group.
vision and mission statements were given space and prominence, and a complementary folder reinforced this.
 
this approach was carried through to all other material, including marketing and programme material for customers, and all office premises. the bold use of colours, people and statements gave all graphics high impact and always aroused positive feedback. the ‘customer toolkit’ was a bespoke ring-binder with a series of A4 fold-out inserts, dividers, branded notepad and 28-page workbook – all colour coded and working successfully both separately and together as part of a well-balanced colour palette. this carried through to the B2B calendar and the multi-audience exhibition stand.

gavin astor house nursing home - gavin astor house nursing home needed a brochure that would set it apart from other nursing homes – something that would convey their high standards of care and professionalism while also portraying the warmth and humanity of their ethos. over 20 specially commissioned photos over 36 pages illustrate the facilities and lifestyle, supplemented by additional detailed information in a series of inserts in the back pocket – making it adaptable and easily updatable. the oversized A4 landscape format together with understated white cover and selective use of uv spot gloss varnish creates the feeling of quality. complemented by dvd cover, website design and local press ad.

market associates - as a start-up recruitment consultancy, market associates needed a corporate identity for their business stationery, business cards and website. specialising in the city of london-based insurance industry, they sought a look that was refreshingly different from the traditional image of established competitors. bright vibrant colours were chosen to reflect their energetic approach, while the hand drawn figure images would give them an adaptable illustrative device for the future as their marketing material develops.

saga insurance limited - a suite of guides was needed to explain the features of Saga’s home insurance and holiday home insurance policies. these A5 portrait leaflets accompanied quotations and key facts illustrations in the ‘quote pack’ mailed out to potential customers who had responded to ads and requested a personalised quotation. the design involved implementing a new branding style that Saga had recently adopted.



 

saga services limited – ‘complete guide to Saga’  28 page A5 landscape was used as a test piece in an A/B split against a control version. content and photography was the same, but the cover, layout and colour coding of the introductory text on each spread was a departure. this version out-performed the control version significantly within the first two months.


 

saga services limited – ‘mini guide’ was a new approach to showcasing Saga’s various products and was designed specifically to appeal to the younger Saga market. this 8-page foldout broke new ground for Saga with its use of fresh vivid colours and simple, straightforward copy. this piece worked very successfully to generate enquiries from the target audience.
